RE: Part 1 application to create a location porting zone within Metro Vancouver – Request for an extension to file interventions

Dear Mr. Schmidt:

By letter dated 1 May 2015, the Commission received an application from TELUS Communications Company (TELUS) requesting that the porting of local numbers be allowed between certain exchanges within Metro Vancouver.

TELUS also requested an extension for the filing of interventions in the above referenced application. Due to resource constraints, TELUS stated that it would not be possible to file its reply to any interventions in the first or second week of June 2015. TELUS requested that the deadline to submit interventions be extended to 15 June 2015.

In the circumstances, Commission staff considers that the request for the extension is appropriate.

Accordingly, interested parties must file their interventions with the Commission by 15 June 2015. TELUS must file its reply with the Commission by 25 June 2015.

Sincerely,
