Re: Telecom Decision CRTC 2014-630 Yukon Emergency Response Auto Select Service (ERAS)
This is in response to your letter of 22 January 2015 to Mr. Chris Seidl, Executive Director - Telecommunications, in which you notified of Northwestel’s intention to file a revised tariff by 3 March 2015, as opposed to within 30 days of the date of Telecom Decision CRTC 2014-630, as required at paragraph 41 of that decision.
Northwestel indicated that additional time to amend, test and provision the service is required before it can file a revised tariff which meets the Commission’s Decision. The Commission has reviewed this request and hereby grants approval for Northwestel to file revised tariff pages by 3 March 2015.
Furthermore, the Commission reminds Northwestel that, unless otherwise advised, formal requests for extensions are required for all situations when the terms of a decision or order by the Commission cannot be satisfied in the timeframe specified by the Commission. In addition, the requests must be submitted with sufficient notice before the due date for consideration by the Commission.
Sincerely,
