Re: 2014-1330-2 – Application to amend the licence for CKYK-FM Alma and CKYK-FM-1 Alma, Quebec
This is in response to your application for authorization to exceed the maximum percentage of spoken word content that the station is permitted to broadcast, in order to broadcast Chicoutimi Saguenéens and Montreal Canadiens (National Hockey League) hockey games.
Paragraph 28(1)(a) of the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission Rules of Practice and Procedure states that the Commission may require a party to provide information, particulars or documents that it considers necessary.
In order to complete the application analysis, please provide the following information:
- Please submit your programming schedule, including the amendments proposed in your application. Category 1 programs, i.e. spoken word content, must be clearly identified on the schedule.
- Please indicate the total percentage of spoken word content in the period during which your station will hold the broadcasting rights for Chicoutimi Saguenéens and Montreal Canadiens hockey games.
- Please specify the length of this period.
Please provide the requested information no later than 23 January 2015 using the secured service “My CRTC Account” (Partner Log In or GCKey).
We also request that you repeat each question in your response.
Considering the above request, the timetable for the proceeding is changed as follows:
- Interventions relating to Groupe Radio Antenne 6 inc.’s responses to the above-noted questions may be filed by 13 February 2015.
- Groupe Radio Antenne 6 inc. may file its reply comments, if applicable, by 23 February 2015.
A copy of this letter and all related correspondence will be added to the public record of the proceeding.
