CFPF-FM Banff - Revocation of licence
- The Banff Centre requested the revocation of the broadcasting licence for its low-power, French-language tourist information radio programming undertaking CFPF-FM Banff, Alberta. The licensee stated that it is no longer in a viable financial position to support this undertaking.
- Given the licensee’s request and pursuant to sections 9(1)(e) and 24(1) of the Broadcasting Act, the Commission revokes the broadcasting licence issued to The Banff Centre for the above-mentioned undertaking.
- Furthermore, the Part 1 application for amendments to the licence for CFPF-FM (2014-0940-0) will require no further action.
