Re: Request to extend the deadline to reply to the requests for information
Dear Sirs,
The Commission received a letter from Quebecor Media inc. (Quebecor Media) on behalf of its affiliate Videotron G.P. (Videotron), dated 6 October 2014, requesting that the deadline for responses to Commission staff’s 30 September 2014 requests for information be extended from 7 October 2014 to 14 October 2014. In its letter, Quebecor Media stated that its regulatory team and key members of Videotron’s engineering services, marketing and finance teams have all been dedicated to the participation of the two companies at the public hearing on the review of wholesale mobile wireless services.
Bell Canada (Bell) filed a letter on the same day to support the application. Bell stated that it was in the same situation as Quebecor Media, namely that key resources are addressing undertakings resulting from the hearing on the review of wholesale mobile wireless services.
Commission staff considers that the extension request filed by Quebecor Media is reasonable in these circumstances. Therefore, the deadline for Commission staff’s 30 September 2014 requests for information is extended to 14 October 2014.
Commission staff reminds parties to file their responses with the Commission, serving a copy on all parties to the proceeding, and that the responses must be actually received and not merely sent by the specified date.
Yours sincerely,
