Re:  DiversityCanada Foundation and the National Pensioners Federation Part 1 Application Regarding TELUS’ Prepaid Wireless Services

Dear Ms. Sankar:

On 17 July 2014, the DiversityCanada Foundation and the National Pensioners Federation (DiversityCanada/NPF) submitted a Part 1 application regarding certain Telus Communications Company (TELUS) prepaid wireless services policies (the application).  In response to a request for an extension from TELUS, the deadlines for Interventions (including TELUS’ Answer) and the Reply comments of DiversityCanada/NPF were extended to 5 September 2014 and 15 September 2014 respectively.

In a letter dated 8 September 2014, Diversity Canada/NPF requested that the Commission extend the deadline for its Reply by 11 days (i.e. until 26 September 2014). Diversity Canada/NPF submitted that, due to other concurrent processes, it requires additional time to prepare an effective Reply for this application.

TELUS filed a letter dated 9 September 2014 indicating that it has no objection to Diversity Canada/NPF’s request.

Commission staff considers that the requested extension of the deadline is reasonable. The timeline is hereby revised as follows:

A copy of this letter and all related correspondence will be added to the public record of the proceeding.

Sincerely,

(ORIGINAL SIGNED)
