RE: Xplornet Communications Inc. Tariff Notice 1

Dear Sir:

On 22 August 2014, the Commission received an application by Xplornet Communications Inc. (Xplornet), under Tariff Notice 1, in which the company proposed to introduce its Type IV CLEC Access Services Tariff.

The company submitted that it intends to operate as a Type IV CLEC and therefore it had revised the Access Services Model Tariff to reflect, among other things, that it would interconnect with certain service providers through TELUS Communications Company, the underlying carrier.

Commission staff intends to request further information from Xplornet regarding this application.

Consequently, this application, along with any associated subsequent revisions, will not be approved on an interim basis on the 15th calendar day following receipt. However, the Commission intends to dispose of this application, along with any associated subsequent revisions, within 45 business days of receipt of the filing.

Sincerely,

Original signed by
