Re: Part 1 Application - Deferral Account Proposal to Improve the Accessibility of Telecommunications Services for Persons with Disabilities

Dear Mr. Schmidt:

I am writing in regard to the above TELUS Communications Company’s (TELUS’s) deferral account application filed with the Commission on 30 June 2014 and in regard to a letter dated 15 July 2014 from the CNIB that requested the Commission to amend its procedures for this application to include an “interrogatory process.”

With this letter, I am notifying parties to this process that the normal comment and reply deadlines1 for this application will be suspended to allow Commission staff to further review TELUS’s application. Upon completion of this review, Commission staff will advise of the new deadlines for this process.

Yours Sincerely,
