RE: Review of wholesale mobile wireless services, Telecom Notice of Consultation CRTC 2014-76 – Request for extension
By letter dated 13 March 2014, TELUS Communications Company (TELUS) requested an extension for all wireless carriers until 22 April 2014 to respond to requests for information set out in a Commission staff letter dated 3 March 2014. TELUS cited the labour intensive data collection needed to respond to the requests for information as the main reason for the requested extension.
Rogers Communications, by letter dated 13 March 2014, and Bell Canada, by letter dated 14 March 2014, expressed their support for the request made by TELUS.
In the circumstances, Commission staff considers that the request for an extension is appropriate.
Canadian wireless carriers identified in the Commission staff letter dated 3 March 2014 will now have until 22 April 2014 to file their responses to the requests for information.
