RE: Wholesale mobile wireless roaming in Canada – Unjust discrimination/undue preference, Telecom Notice of Consultation 2013-685 – Request for an oral hearing

Dear Mr. Hersche:

Commission staff is in receipt of a letter from Saskatchewan Telecommunications (“SaskTel”) dated 23 January 2014 requesting the addition of an oral hearing to the above-noted proceeding.

Given that there will be an oral hearing in the proceeding initiated by Telecom Notice of Consultation CRTC 2014-76 - Review of wholesale mobile wireless services, Commission staff considers that it is not necessary to add an oral hearing to the proceeding initiated by Telecom Notice of Consultation 2013-685.

Yours sincerely,
