Re: TELUS’ Part 1 application, Use of Deferral Account funds to improve access to telecommunications services for persons with disabilities – Request for an extension to file responses

Dear Mr. Schmidt:

We are writing in response to your letter dated 24 January 2014 that requested a four-day extension to the filing date of TELUS’ response to Commission staff’s request for clarification of an economic study associated with the above-referenced application. TELUS requested that the filing date be extended from 3 February 2014 to 7 February 2014 because of meetings planned to take place on 3 February 2014 between the TELUS employees responsible for this file and advocacy groups representing persons with disabilities.

Commission staff considers TELUS’ request for extension to be reasonable. Thus the date for filing TELUS’ response is amended to 7 February 2014.

Yours sincerely,
