Re: Follow up to Telecom Regulatory Policy CRTC 2013-771: Request for Extension to File Terrestrial Retail Internet Costing
Dear Sir:
On 13 January 2014, the Commission received a request by Northwestel Inc. (Northwestel) to extend to 30 April 2014 the date for filing the cost studies for its terrestrial retail Internet services.
Northwestel submitted that in view of the heavy workload involving costing (i.e. costing associated with a large number of Internet services and EWAN service, as well as re-filing its Modernization Plan), its limited costing resources do not have the capacity to file the cost studies for its terrestrial retail Internet services until 30 April 2014.
In the circumstances, Commission staff considers that Northwestel’s requested extension is appropriate.
