RE:  Applications by Probit Inc.- Review and Vary of Request for Information Letter, 8662-P67-201410125, and Relief in respect of the Automatic Dialing-announcing Devices Rules, 8665-P67-201410117 – Procedural Request

Dear Mr. Reno and Mr. Bozinoff:

The Commission is in receipt of letters dated 29 October 2014 from each of Public Polling and Forum Research Inc. regarding the two applications referenced above by Probit Inc.

Commission staff considers that the applications submitted by Probit Inc. are broader in scope and with more issues than those previously submitted by the Québec Government (8662-G4-201406041), Receivable Management Association of Canada (8665-R53-201408303), Total Credit Recovery (8665-T170-201406835), Coalition of Collection Agencies (8665-C208-201407503) and the Ontario Society of Collection Agencies (8665-T173-201407768).

Accordingly your request for a proceeding to consider all seven applications is denied.

Sincerely,

Manon Bombardier
Chief Compliance and Enforcement Officer
