Dear Mr. Bellerose :

This letter is in response to your request for an extension to the deadline to submit your comments on the Notice of consultation Broadcasting CRTC 2014-190, Let’s Talk TV.

The Commission launched a conversation with Canadians about the future of television in October 2013, giving interveners over seven months to prepare their positions on the issues raised during this process. The Commission also notes that it has set the deadline for interventions to 25 June 2014, giving interveners 60 days to file interventions rather than a customary 35.

In light of the above, the Commission has denied your request for an extension of deadline.

Yours sincerely,

(Original signed by Véronique Lehoux for)
