Re : Request for an extension – Complaint by Independent Community Television of Montreal (ICTV) regarding MAtv (Application No. 2013 1746 2)

Dear Ms. Friesinger :

In a letter dated 14 March 2014, the Independent Community Television of Montreal (ICTV) requested that the intervention deadline of the above-mentioned application be prorogued from 10 April 2014 to 17 April 2014.

ICTV stated that this seven-day extension would be equivalent the seven additional days granted to Quebecor Media Inc., on behalf of Vidéotron G.P. (Vidéotron) to reply to a clarification letter sent by the Commission and dated 4 March 2014. Vidéotron replied on 17 March 2014.

We wish to inform you hereby that the requested extension is denied, since the intervention period for this proceeding has already been extended by 10 days, for a total of 40 days (comparatively to the standard 30-day period of the Commission), in order to include the time given to Vidéotron to reply.

The closing date of the intervention period for this proceeding therefore remains 10 April 2014.

A copy of all correspondence related to this application will be placed on the public record of this proceeding.

Yours sincerely,
