CJIS-FM Truro – Revocation of licence

1. James K. Langille, Chief Administrative Officer, Town of Truro has requested the revocation of its broadcasting licence for the low-power, English-language tourist information radio programming undertaking CJIS-FM Truro, Nova Scotia, to continue its operation as an exempt undertaking pursuant to Exemption order for low-power radio stations that provide tourist information, Broadcasting Order CRTC 2013-620, 21 November 2013.

2. Given the licensee’s request and pursuant to sections 9(1)(e) and 24(1) of the Broadcasting Act, the Commission revokes the broadcasting licence issued to James K. Langille, Chief Administrative Officer, Town of Truro for the above-mentioned undertaking.
