RE: Cogeco Cable Inc. Tariff Notice 37A – Canadian Network Operators Consortium Inc. request for extension
The Commission is in receipt of a letter, dated 17 December 2013, from the Canadian Network Operators Consortium Inc. (CNOC), in which CNOC requested an extension to the current due date of 29 January 2014 for the filing of interventions with respect to Cogeco Cable Inc. (Cogeco) Tariff Notice 37A. CNOC submitted that its regulatory resources are currently fully deployed in preparing submissions due throughout January 2014 in a number of other major proceedings. CNOC is therefore seeking approval for an extension of the filing date to 24 February 2014.
The Commission is in receipt of a letter from Cogeco, dated 18 December 2013, in which the company raised no objection to CNOC’s extension request.
Commission staff considers that under the circumstances the extension request by CNOC is appropriate. Accordingly, CNOC is to file its interventions by 24 February 2014, and Cogeco may file reply comments with the Commission,
serving copies on all other parties, by 6 March 2014.
