Re: Use of Deferral Account funds to improve access to telecommunications for persons with disabilities – Part 1 Application.
Dear Mr. Woodhead:
With this letter, Commission staff is requesting TELUS to file with the Commission an economic study pertaining to its proposed website accessibility initiative.
Please provide a breakdown of the costs associated with this initiative, including a detailed breakdown and separation of the costs associated with the proposed enhancements to its websites. For each cost component provided above, provide the methodology and assumptions, with supporting rationale, used to estimate the each cost item. The response should provide unit cost(s) (i.e., operating expense unit cost/factor, unit cost based on labour unit cost, capital unit cost), vintage of unit cost(s) and associated cost driver demand forecast used to estimate the cost. Further, if capital unit cost(s) are used, the response should also provide how the capital unit cost was developed, with supporting rationale
