RE: Bell Aliant Tariff Notice 460 and Bell Canada Tariff Notice 7407 – Megalink Service

Dear Madame/Sir:

On 7 October 2013, the Commission received applications from Bell Aliant and Bell Canada (the Bell companies) under Tariff Notices 460 and 7407, in which the Bell companies proposed to: introduce a new permanent offer for Megalink Service; provide eligible business customers monthly rate discounts in certain exchanges for the Megalink Access, Direct Inward Dialing (Active Numbers), Direct Inward Dialing (Reserved Numbers), and Calling Line Identification components of the service and introduce rate ranges for the discount amounts.

In support of the proposed changes, the Bell companies submitted that they continue to rely on the price floor tests filed 18 October 2012 associated with Bell Aliant Tariff Notice 418 and Bell Canada Tariff Notice 7366.

The Bell companies indicated that the applications are Group B retail tariff filings.

Commission staff is continuing its analysis on these applications

Consequently, these applications will not be approved on an interim basis on the 15th calendar day following receipt. However, the Commission intends to dispose of these applications, along with all associated subsequent revisions, within 45 business days of receipt of the filings.

Yours sincerely,
