Re: Application number 2013-1082-0

Dear Sir,

This is in reference to the application by Rogers Communication Inc. (Rogers) for clarification of certain elements of Telecom Regulatory Policy 2013-271 (the Wireless Code).

Section 22(1)(b) of the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission Rules of Practice and Procedure provides that an application must be served on any person that the Commission directs.

In this case, Commission staff considers that Rogers’ application could affect the interpretation and implementation of the Wireless Code for all wireless service providers and their customers.

As such, in order to ensure that parties to the original proceeding are aware of this development, Commission staff hereby directs Rogers to serve its application on, at minimum, the parties listed in Appendix A to this letter by 5 August 2013. Parties already served do not need to be included in this distribution.

Should you need further information concerning your application, please do not hesitate to contact me by telephone at (819) 997-4546.

Yours sincerely,
