RE: Tariff Notice 99 – Toll Interconnection Rates

Dear Sir:

On 21 March 2013, the Commission received an application by the Ontario Telecommunications Association (OTA) under Tariff Notice 99 (TN 99), in which it proposed revisions to the Ontario Independent Services Tariff, item 235 – Toll Interconnection Services. The OTA proposed to identify in two tables where OTA member companies have changed categories. It also proposed to delete references to Amtelecom and People’s Tel from the tariff item because those companies are no longer members of the organization. The OTA indicated that its application is a Group B retail tariff filing.

Commission staff is continuing its analysis of this application

Consequently, this application will not be approved on an interim basis on the 15th calendar day following receipt. However, the Commission intends to dispose of this application, along with all associated subsequent revisions, within 45 business days of receipt of the filing.
