RE: Registration of Greater Sudbury Telecommunications Inc. as a proposed CLEC and as a non-dominant carrier

On 12 March 2013, Greater Sudbury Telecommunications Inc. doing business as Agilis Networks (Agilis) completed the requirements to register as a proposed Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC). Based on the information provided, Agilis meets the requirements to be placed on the lists of proposed CLECs and is hereby authorized to:

• Proceed with further arrangements as necessary to allow it to provide local switched services as a CLEC. However, you are reminded that you may not offer services to the public as a CLEC until all the conditions of Decision 97-8 and any subsequent relevant Decisions have been satisfied.

You will find a description of the requirements for registration as a full CLEC at the following link, which summarizes the CLEC obligations defined in Decision 97-8: http://www.crtc.gc.ca/eng/comm/telecom/eslcclec.htm

• Provide a class of forborne telecommunications services not including among those exempted by Telecom Decision 95-19 (http://www.crtc.gc.ca/eng/archive/1995/DT95-19.htm)

Agilis is reminded that in order to remain on any Facilities-Based registration list(s), it must comply with the appropriate regulatory regime and complete the following forms in the Data Collection System (DCS) on an annual basis:
• Canadian Telecommunications Common Carrier Ownership and Control Filings
• Registration List Contact Information
• Reporting Entity Profile
• Annual Revenue Report Form

The registered entity must also keep any information in its Basic International Telecommunications Services (BITS) license application current.

Failure to comply with any of the above noted statutory requirements will result in the revocation of Agilis’s authority to provide service and removal from the CRTC’s registration list(s).

Yours sincerely,
