Re: Appointment of an Inquiry Officer to review matters related to 9-1-1, Telecom Notice of Consultation CRTC 2012-686, 17 December 2012 (TNC 2012-686)
Dear Madam, Sir:
The Commission is in receipt of a letter dated 11 January 2013 from the Public Interest Advocacy Centre (PIAC) where, amongst other things, it requested a 1-month extension to the dates by which interested persons may file comments and reply comments with the Inquiry Officer.
In addition, the Commission is in receipt of letters from various other interested persons requesting an extension to dates similar to PIAC’s request.
With regard to the various requests for an extension to the dates by which interested persons may file comments and reply comments with the Inquiry Officer, such requests are considered to be reasonable and the procedure for the inquiry is amended as follows:
Any interested persons who wish to file comments with the Inquiry Officer regarding the questions set out in Appendix 1 to TNC 2012-686, may do so by 1 March 2013.
Any interested person that files comments with the Inquiry Officer by 1 February 2013 may file reply comments with the Inquiry Officer by 15 March 2013.
