Dear Sir:

Re: 2013-1289-2 – New low-power FM transmitter in Montreal, Quebec

This is further to your Part 1 application to add a low-power FM rebroadcasting transmitter in Montreal, Quebec.

Please be advised that the Commission has already received an application by
AGNI Communications Inc. (AGNI) for a broadcasting licence to operate an ethnic commercial low-power FM radio station in Montreal. The station would operate on frequency 102.9 MHz (channel 275LP). The AGNI application was considered at the
non-appearing hearing of 12 September 2013, as set out in Broadcasting Notice of Consultation CRTC 2013-335.

Since your application proposes the use of the low-power frequency 103.1 MHz (276LP), which is the frequency adjacent to that requested by AGNI, the Commission hereby informs you that the two applications will be processed as mutually exclusive. In this case, the Commission will only process your application when a determination for the AGNI application is taken and made public, bearing in mind the results of the AGNI application.

A copy of this letter and all related correspondence will be added to the public record of the proceeding.

Yours sincerely,
