Re: Part 1 application 2012-1285-0 to amend the technical parameters of CFYK-FM Yellowknife, NT
On 19 September 2013, the CBC requested that the Commission conduct an abbreviated process with respect to the above noted application. Specifically, the CBC requested that the standard intervention and reply period be shortened as it could prevent the Commission to issue a decision for this application by the end of November 2013. The CBC indicated that given the holiday season and the unpredictability of the weather, it wishes to change the antenna’s polarization and be ready to serve the communities of Yellowknife by the beginning of December.
The Commission’s staff has reviewed the circumstances of this application and the CBC’s request, and approves to conduct an abbreviated process for this application.
In light of the above, the timetable for the process is established as follows:
