Re: Access Communications Co-operative Limited’s (Access) compliance report with respect to the loudness of TV commercial messages

Mr. Deane:

This is a follow-up to Commission staff’s letter dated 1 May 2013, requesting that Access provide additional information regarding its compliance report with respect to the loudness of TV commercial messages.

Commission staff is in receipt of Access’ response to the aforementioned request, dated 24 May 2013.

After reviewing it, Commission staff is satisfied with the specific information provided by Access pursuant to paragraph 25 of the Broadcasting Information Bulletin CRTC 2012-471 and considers that, at this time, no further measures are required.

Consequently, the examination of Access’ compliance report has concluded and we thank you for your collaboration during this initial compliance assessment. Note that this does not preclude Commission staff from requesting compliance reports or additional information in the future.

Sincerely,

Andrea Rosen
Chief Compliance and Enforcement Officer
