WIN HD Caribbean – Revocation of licence

1. WIN HDTV (Canada) Incorporated has requested the revocation of the broadcasting licence for the specialty Category B service WIN HD Caribbean in order to continue its operation as an exempt undertaking, pursuant to New exemption order respecting certain programming undertakings that would otherwise be eligible to be operated as Category B services, and amendments to the Exemption order respecting certain third-language television undertakings, Broadcasting Order CRTC 2012-689, 19 December 2012.

2. Given the licensee’s request and pursuant to sections 9(1)(e) and 24(1) of the Broadcasting Act, the Commission revokes the broadcasting licence issued for the above-mentioned undertaking.
