CBKF-FM Regina – Technical amendment
1. The Commission approves the application by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation to change the authorized contours of CBKF-FM Regina by increasing the average effective radiated power from 13,700 to 22,300 watts (non-directional antenna with a decrease in the effective height of antenna above average terrain from 153 to 146.2 metres). The Commission did not receive any intervention in connection with this application.
2. The licensee indicated that its application aims to enhance the contours of the French-language service La Première Chaîne in the Regina area.
3. The Commission reminds the licensee that pursuant to section 22(1) of the Broadcasting Act, this authority will only be effective when the Department of Industry notifies the Commission that its technical requirements have been met and that a broadcasting certificate will be issued.
