Review of the Unsolicited Telecommunications Rules

1. The Commission received a letter from Rogers Communications Partnership (RCP), dated 30 May 2013, in which it requested an extension to certain filing dates set out in Review of the Unsolicited Telecommunications Rules, Compliance and Enforcement Notice of Consultation CRTC 2013-140, 20 March 2013. Specifically, RCP requested an extension to the dates by which interested parties may file interventions on those submissions filed by 6 May 2013 and reply comments. By letter dated 30 May 2013, the Public Interest Advocacy Centre supported RCP’s request.

2. The Commission considers that an extension would be appropriate in the circumstances. Accordingly, paragraphs 47 and 49 of the above-referenced notice are amended as follows:

47. Parties and other interested persons who have not already filed an intervention may file an intervention addressing the submissions and proposals of parties contained in their interventions filed in accordance with paragraph 46 by 10 June 2013.

49. Parties may file reply comments with the Commission, serving copies on all other parties, by 25 June 2013.
