RE: Group B applications to modify the terms and conditions pertaining to the 30 day deactivation policy for Calling Features and Home Phone subscriptions

Dear Sirs:

On 9 September 2012, Bell Aliant and Bell Canada (the companies) submitted applications (Tariff Notices 415 and 7363, respectively) to modify the terms and conditions pertaining to the 30 day deactivation policy for Calling Features and Home Phone subscriptions such that the companies would be able to waive the related early cancellation penalties at their discretion.

Paragraph 28(1)(a) of the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission Rules of Practice and Procedure provides that the Commission may request parties to file information or documents where needed.

The companies are requested to provide a complete response, with supporting rationale, to the attached questions by 21 November 2012.

Where a document is to be filed or served by a specific date, the document must be actually received, not merely sent, by that date. Copies of the documents should also be sent to cameron.warriner@crtc.gc.ca.

Yours sincerely,
