Dear Sirs:

Re: Bell Aliant Regional Communications, Limited Partnership Tariff Notice 414 and Bell Canada Tariff Notice 7361 – Requests for information

On 24 August 2012, the Commission received applications by Bell Aliant Regional Communications, Limited Partnership and Bell Canada (collectively, the Bell companies) under cover of Tariff Notices (TNs) 414 and 7361, respectively, in which the Bell companies proposed revised monthly co-location floor space rates that apply within their Ontario and Québec serving areas.

Commission staff has reviewed the information on the record and has determined there is a need for further information in order to properly assess the Bell companies’ request for revised co-location floor space rates. Consequently, the Bell companies are requested to respond to the attached interrogatories by 12 December 2012.

Accordingly, Commission staff sets out the following process dates:

Bell Companies’ responses to Commission interrogatories 12 December 2012
Comments may be filed by parties 21 December 2012
Reply comments may be filed by the Bell companies 9 January 2013

With respect to the Bell companies’ 12 December 2012 interrogatory responses, the level of disclosure of information should be consistent with previous disclosure rulings, including today’s disclosure ruling regarding the above TNs.

Consistent with the guidelines set out in Broadcasting and Telecom Information Bulletin CRTC 2010-959, copies of comments and interrogatory responses referred to above are to be served on all parties to this proceeding. Copies of the documents should also be sent to trichur.krishnan@crtc.gc.ca.

Yours truly,
