Subject: Final 2012 Revenue-percent charge decision issued
and Prior period contribution reporting adjustments
This is to advise that the Commission issued Final 2012 revenue-percent charge and related matters, Telecom Decision CRTC 2012-619, today. The decision can be found on the "Today's Releases" section of the Commission's website.
In addition, Commission staff is of the view that, as a matter of policy, prior period contribution reporting adjustments should only be considered from a telecommunications service provider (TSP) for a maximum period of six years.
As is the current procedure, the Central Fund Administrator should not process any prior period contribution reporting adjustments for any data-month for which the TSP's monthly reporting has been closed by Commission staff without the prior agreement of Commission staff.
