Dear Mr. Reirson:
This letter addresses requests for disclosure by MTS Allstream Inc. (MTS Allstream) dated 15 October 2012, of information for which a claim of confidentiality has been made in the context of the process relating to TELUS Communications Company’s co-location power applications noted above.
On 26 October 2012, the Commission issued Confidentiality of information used to establish wholesale service rates, Telecom Regulatory Policy CRTC 2012-592 (TRP CRTC 2012-592), that deals with disclosure guidelines for cost information with regard to wholesale service rate applications.
Commission staff notes that TELUS filed its comments with respect to MTS Allstream’s disclosure requests prior to the issuance of TRP CRTC 2012-592, which set out new disclosure guidelines. In light of this, TELUS may file additional reply comments with respect to these requests and served on all parties by 1 November 2012, taking into consideration the Commission’s determinations set out in TRP CRTC 2012-592.
Commission staff notes that the remaining process dates set out in Commission staff’s letter dated 19 October 2012 continue to apply.
