RE: Northwestel’s tariff Notice 883A: Wholesale Connect Service - Request for extension to file responses to CRTC interrogatories
On 26 October 2012, the Commission received a request from Northwestel Inc. (Northwestel) to extend the date for providing responses to Commission interrogatories regarding the above-mentioned tariff filing from 2 November 2012 to 5 November 2012.
In support of the extension request, Northwestel noted the numerous reruns of the cost model and the very granular cost input detail that were requested - which take time to prepare and summarize. Northwestel further noted its limited resources, the volume and extensive detail of the information to be provided in the interrogatory responses. In the interest of producing meaningful results which will benefit all parties to the proceeding, Northwestel requested an additional business day to submit its responses.
In light of the extensive cost information sought in the interrogatories, Northwestel’s request to extend the filing date for the responses to the interrogatories is accepted. Given the short time extension granted, the remaining process dates for filing comments will remain unchanged.
Responses to the interrogatories are to be filed with the Commission and served on all interested parties by 5 November 2012. Copies of the documents should also be sent to yvan.davidson@crtc.gc.ca and marc.pilon@crtc.gc.ca.
