RE: Tariff Notice 40 – Amendment to section 201 of the Carrier Access Tariff

Dear Sir:

On 20 September 2012, the Commission received an application by Québecor Média inc. under cover of Tariff Notice 40 (TN 40) in which the company proposed an amendment to section 201 of its Carrier Access Tariff to replace a reference to the termination of intra-exchange traffic with a more accurate reference to the termination of intra-local interconnection region traffic. The company indicated that its application qualified as a Group B retail filing.

Commission staff is continuing its analysis. Consequently, the application and any subsequent amendments will not be approved provisionally on the 15th calendar day following receipt. However, the Commission intends to dispose of this application, along with any subsequent revisions, within 45 business days following receipt.

Yours sincerely,
