Re: Broadcasting Regulatory Policy CRTC 2012-430 – Broadcasting Accessibility Fund (BAF) – Request for 30-day extension for filing documentation
Dear Mr. Abbott:
The Commission is in receipt of a letter from BCE Inc. dated 30 August 2012 requesting a 30-day extension for the submission of the signed and dated executed copies of the constituting documents and of the agreements amended in accordance with the directions set out in the Appendix to Broadcasting Regulatory Policy CRTC 2012-430.
The Commission hereby approves and grants BCE Inc. an extension, from 6 September 2012 to 9 October 2012, for the submission of the above-noted documents. The Commission hereby reminds BCE Inc. that the BAF is to become operational to fund projects that promote accessibility of broadcasting content within 120 days of the date of BRP 2012-430, and that BCE is to file the funding criteria for Commission approval within 90 days of the date of BRP 2012-430.
