Dear Madams:

RE: Request for extension to file comments on interrogatories’ responses

On 1 August 2012, the Commission received a letter from counsel for the Regional Municipality of York (York), requesting an extension from 3 August 2012 to
13 August 2012 to file York’s comments on the interrogatory responses of Rogers Communications Partnership (Rogers).

Commission staff notes that this extension is requested as Rogers has agreed to make available to certain York representatives and York’s counsel some confidential information.  As the Confidentiality Agreement is still being prepared, Rogers has yet to provide that confidential information.  Commission staff further notes that counsel for York will be on holiday the week of 6 August 2012.

In light of the above, Commission staff considers that the request from counsel for York is reasonable in the circumstances.

Accordingly, York and Rogers may file comments on the interrogatory responses by 13 August 2012.  Parties that wish to designate some or all of their answers as confidential must do so in accordance with the CRTC Rules of Practice and Procedure.

Yours sincerely,

‘Original signed by M. Bertrand’
