RE:  Status of the implementation of local competition in Téléphone Guèvremont Inc.’s territory

In Telecom Decision CRTC 2012-37, Téléphone Guèvremont Inc. - Implementation of local competition for Cogeco Cable Inc., the Commission directed Téléphone Guèvremont Inc. (Guèvremont) to provide information and assistance to Cogeco Câble Québec s.e.n.c. (Cogeco Québec) and TELUS Communications Company (TCC) in the negotiation process, as required, in order to implement local competition as quickly as possible so that Cogeco Québec may begin operating in Guèvremont’s territory by no later than
23 July 2012.

Based on the information provided by Guèvremont on the status of its implementation plans, it is unclear whether the plans are in place to meet the 23 July 2012 deadline.
