SUBJECT : File #545613
Internet Traffic Management Practices (« ITMPs »)
Section 36 of the Telecommunications Act, S.C.1993, c.38, as amended (« Act ») and Paragraphs 126 and 127 of Telecom Regulatory Policy CRTC 2009-657 (« TRP CRTC 2009-657 »)

Dear Mr. Engelhart :

I am writing with respect to the above noted file and further to our meeting of 17 May 2012, at which time we requested a letter detailing the timing of Rogers’ plan to phase out its technical ITMPs by the end of December 2012. We are now in receipt your letter of 1 June 2012, which sufficiently addresses our questions and concerns on this matter.

In this light, staff believes that no further action is required and is closing the file.

Sincerely,

Andrea Rosen
Chief Compliance and Enforcement
