Dear Sir:

RE:  Tariff Notice 885 - Basic Listing Interchange File service

On 2 April 2012, the Commission received an application by Northwestel Inc. (Northwestel) under Tariff Notice 885, in which the company proposed, among other things, the introduction of its Basic Listing Interchange File (BLIF) tariff.

Commission staff notes that the Commission has received comments related to Northwestel’s Tariff Notice 884 - Local Network Interconnection Tariff, and that these comments may also have an impact on its determinations on Northwestel’s BLIF tariff.  Commission staff is continuing its analysis of these applications.

Consequently, this application, along with all associated subsequent revisions, will not be disposed of on the 45th calendar day following receipt.  The Commission intends to dispose of this application, along with all associated subsequent revisions, during the month of
July 2012.

Yours sincerely,

‘Original signed by M. Murray’
