Dear Sir:

RE:  Aliant Telecom Tariff Notice 429

The Commission received an application by Bell Aliant Regional Communications, Limited Partnership (Bell Aliant), under Aliant Telecom Tariff Notice (TN) 429, in which the company proposed changes to General Tariff CRTC 21491, item 612, Competitor Digital Network Service, in order to increase the rates for certain rate elements.

In Telecom Order 2012-216, dated 12 April 2012, the Commission granted interim approval to
TN 429, effective 1 June 2012.

The Commission subsequently received a related application by Bell Aliant, under TN 432, in which the company proposed to reverse the increases approved in Telecom Order 2012-216, effective 1 June 2012.  The Commission approved TN 432 on an interim basis in Telecom Order 2012-291, dated 15 May 2012, and on a final basis in Telecom Order 2012-325, dated 6 June 2012.

Given that the proposed increases in Tariff Notice 429 have been superseded by the reversal of those increases in Tariff Notice 432, the file associated with Tariff Notice 429 is closed.

Yours sincerely,
