Dear Ms. Lapierre:
Re: Tariff Notice 0047 – Amendment to General Tariff item 3.1.4
On 25 April 2012, the Commission received an application by La Compagnie de Téléphone de Lambton Inc. (Lambton) under cover of Tariff Notice 0047 (TN 47), in which the company proposed an amendment to General Tariff item 3.1.4 to comply with the conclusions of Telecom Regulatory Policy CRTC 2012-83 associated with residential and business single-line inside wire services.
Under subparagraph 28(1)(a) of the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission Rules of Practice and Procedure, the Commission may require a party to provide information or documents that it considers necessary.
Lambton is requested to provide comprehensive answers, including rationale and any supporting information, to the attached questions by 15 May 2012.
Consequently, this application will not be approved on an interim basis on the 15th calendar day after it was received. The Commission intends to dispose of this application and any subsequent revisions within 45 business days of receipt of the filing.
Sincerely,

Information request
Upon review of page 3 (2nd version), staff noted a discrepancy between the data submitted to the Commission on 23 May 2000 (page 3,1st version) and this application (2nd version). Specifically, staff noted that the prices set out in item 3.1.2 (4) of the 1st version were higher than those set out in the same item in the 2nd version. See the table below:

In light of the above, please answer the following questions:
1. Did Lambton make changes to these tariffs between 1 July 2000 (effective date – 1st version) and the present date (2nd version)? If so, did the company file an application with the Commission, and if so, under cover of which tariff notice?
2. What are the company’s current service rates?
3. When did these rates come into effect?
