Re: Applications regarding Ethernet Services and related matters – Requests for information
Bell Aliant Regional Communications, Limited Partnership and Bell Canada filed a Part 1 application, dated 23 June 2011, in which the companies requested that the Commission reclassify their Ethernet Access Services offered in Ontario and Québec from a retail service to a wholesale service. MTS Allstream Inc. filed a Part 1 application, dated 11 November 2011, in which it requested the reclassification of Ethernet services and ancillary relief.
Given that the issues raised in both applications are related, Commission staff considers that it would be appropriate and more efficient to consider both applications within a single proceeding.
Attached are requests for information associated with this proceeding. Responses to these requests for information are to be filed with the Commission by May 18 2012.
