Re: Revised process for Tariff Notices related to the proposed service charge for network capacity changes – residence
The Commission received a letter from MTS Inc. and Allstream Inc. (MTS Allstream), dated 23 April 2012, in which MTS Allstream requested an extension of the 2 May 2012 filing date for responses to requests for information in the above-noted tariff proceeding to 16 May 2012 (with corresponding adjustments from 7 May 2012 to 21 May 2012 for comments from interested parties and from 11 May 2012 to 25 May 2012 for MTS Allstream’s reply comments). MTS Allstream stated that these extensions were necessary because several key people needed to respond to the requests for information are currently not available.
By letter dated 25 April 2012, Bell Aliant Regional Communications, Limited Partnership (Bell Aliant) and Bell Canada indicated that while they did not object to MTS Allstream’s request, in the interests of parity and to avoid an unnecessarily complicated process, any extension granted to MTS Allstream should also apply to all other parties.
Commission staff considers that to grant a delay is reasonable and will not unduly prejudice any parties to the proceedings.
Accordingly, the revised filing dates are as follows:
Bell Aliant, Bell Canada, Cogeco, MTS Allstream, Rogers and Vidéotron are to file responses to Commission staff interrogatories by 11 May 2012.
All parties may submit comments on the additional information provided in the interrogatory responses by 15 May 2012.
Bell Aliant, Bell Canada, Cogeco, MTS Allstream, Rogers and Vidéotron are to file replies to the additional comments by 18 May 2012.
