RE: TELUS Communications Company – Amalgamation of Digital Network Access Tariffs

Dear Madam:

On 27 February 2012, the Commission received applications by TELUS Communications Company (TCC), under TCC Tariff Notice (TN) 428, TCI TN 639, and TCBC TN 4351, in which the company proposed to amalgamate its Digital Network Access (DNA) tariffs to merge, align, and simplify the services in the three tariffs.

In a letter dated 7 March 2012, Commission staff closed the above-noted files because they did not comply with Commission requirements for destandardization/withdrawal of services, as described in Approval processes for tariff applications and intercarrier agreements, Telecom Information Bulletin CRTC 2010-455, 5 July 2010. However, due to an administrative delay, the letter was not posted on the Commission’s website until 14 March 2012.

MTS Allstream provided comments on the above-noted files in an intervention dated 12 March 2012. While this intervention has since been posted on the Commission’s website, the comments will not be considered because the file has been closed.

Commission staff apologizes for any inconvenience caused by the delay in posting the 7 March 2012 Commission staff letter.

Yours sincerely,
