Re: CNOC request for change of submission dates
By letter dated 8 March 2012, Canadian Network Operators Consortium Inc. (CNOC) requested the modification of the remaining filing dates for the Part 1 applications made by Rogers Communications Partnership (Rogers) and Quebecor Media Inc. on behalf of itself and its affiliate Vidéotron G.P. (Quebecor)), respectively, to and vary Telecom Regulatory Policy (TRP) 2011-703.
Specifically, CNOC requested an extension of dates with respect to Quebecor’s application for filing interventions and reply to 28 March 2012 and 9 April 2012, respectively, and an extension of dates with respect to Rogers’ application for filing interventions and reply to 6 April 2012 and 16 April 2012, respectively.
In support of its requests, CNOC discussed regulatory resource constraints in relation to a number of applications flowing from TRP 2011-703 that are now before the Commission.
By letter dated 9 March 2011, Quebecor submitted that it did not object to CNOC’s request.
Commission staff considers that CNOC’s requests are reasonable in the circumstances it described.
The dates for the submission of answers/interventions and reply with respect to Vidéotron’s application are therefore amended to 28 March 2012 and 9 April 2012, respectively.
The dates for the submission of answers/interventions and reply with respect to Rogers’ application are therefore amended to 2 April 2012 and 12 April 2012, respectively.
Parties are to serve the applicant and all parties to the proceeding that led to TRP CRTC 2011-703.
