RE: Tariff Notice (TN) 878 – Withdrawal of Manual Mobile Service
Dear Sir:
The Commission received the above-mentioned tariff notice, dated 2 December 2011, from Northwestel Inc. (Northwestel). In its application, the company proposed to remove both fixed and non-fixed Manual Mobile Service (MMS) from 24 sites.
In addition, Northwestel proposed housekeeping changes to its MMS tariff to (a) consolidate pages and remove references to tariffs for not sufficient funds (NSF) charges and late payment charges that are now forborne, and (b) to correct errors associated with MMS site names.
Commission staff notes that it has requested that the company amend its application. Since the record of this proceeding has not yet closed, the Commission will be unable to dispose of this application within 45 business days of its receipt. However, the Commission intends to dispose of this application, along with all associated subsequent revisions, by the end of March 2012.
