RE:  Tariff Notice (TN) 878 – Withdrawal of Manual Mobile Service

Dear Sir:

The Commission received the above-mentioned tariff notice, dated 2 December 2011, from Northwestel Inc. (Northwestel). In its application, the company proposed to remove both fixed and non-fixed Manual Mobile Service (MMS) from 24 sites.

In addition, Northwestel proposed housekeeping changes to its MMS tariff to (a) consolidate pages and remove references to tariffs for not sufficient funds (NSF) charges and late payment charges that are now forborne, and (b) to correct errors associated with MMS site names.

Commission staff notes that there appear to be several minor errors in the proposed revised tariff pages, as follows:

Commission staff requests that Northwestel amend its application to correct the above-noted errors.

Sincerely,
