Re: Follow-up to Telecom Regulatory Policy CRTC 2011-703 – Outstanding Rating Issue (MTS Allstream Tariff Notice (TN) 721) and Revised TPIA Service Agreement
Dear Sir:
On 19 December 2011, the Commission received the above-mentioned tariff notice submitted by MTS Allstream Inc (MTS Allstream). The company indicated that its application was filed as a Group B retail tariff filing under Approval mechanisms for retail and CLEC tariffs, Telecom Regulatory Policy CRTC 2008-74, 21 August 2008.
Commission staff considers that the service charges proposed in TN 721 relate to a competitor tariff subject to the approval process for competitor tariffs indicated in Approval processes for tariff applications and intercarrier agreements, Telecom Information Bulletin CRTC 2010-455, 5 July 2010.
For purposes of efficiency, the Commission will process this application as a competitor tariff filing rather than close the file and require the company to re-file it as a new application.
