Re: Section 7 – CRTC Rules of Practice and Procedure
Broadcasting Notice of Consultation CRTC 2011-379-3
CBC/Radio-Canada Licence Renewal

Dear Mr. Guiton,

This is in response to the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation’s (the Corporation) procedural request of 12 October 2012, that the Commission amend its procedures for the hearing for the licence renewal of the Corporation’s services by extending the deadline to file a reply to interventions to 19 October 2012, in order to permit the Corporation to review the submissions of all interveners prior to filing its reply.

The Panel for the licence renewals of the Corporation’s French- and English-language services approves the procedural request to extend the deadline to file a reply to interventions to 19 October 2012.

This letter, as well as the Corporation’s procedural request letter, will be part of the application and will be made available for consultation.

Sincerely,

(Original signed by)

John Traversy,
Secretary General
